Stanton Fleming, former network administrator for General Nutrition Center in Pittsburgh, has been hired as coordinator of user and desktop services at Westminster College.

"Westminster College Information Systems is excited to welcome Stanton Fleming to our staff," said Paul Wallace, director of information systems at Westminster.  "We looked forward to working with him, and expect to benefit from his experience as the campus moves forward."

Fleming graduated from Westminster College in 1995 with a degree in history.  While at Westminster, however, his career took a unique turn.

"I started working on computers while I was a student at Westminster," said Stanton.  "I went through the ranks from a proctor, to a master proctor, and finally a lab assistant.  After I graduated I went to work for Future Now, which is now known as Xerox Connect as a technician.  During that time the Internet started to take off, so I was configuring machines along with troubleshooting.  Then I applied for the job at GNC and worked my way up to a network administrator there, but I'm happy to be back at Westminster."

Stanton currently resides on Gateway Road in New Wilmington.  For more information contact Stanton at (724) 946-7282 or e-mail fleminsa@westminster.edu.
