Westminster College Sponsors "Greek" Speaker

Posted on Tuesday, February 4, 2003

David Stollman, founder of CampusSpeak, will speak to all Westminster College sorority and fraternity members about campus "Greek" life Monday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

Stollman's talk, "Buy In or Get Out," will focus on what to do with difficult members of sororities and fraternities. As the title indicates, his suggestion for those who behave inappropriately, have poor appreciation for ritual, service or scholarship is to get them out.'

An active volunteer of his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Stollman worked on the staff of the National Interfraternity Conference for two years, facilitating workshops on over 250 campuses, before establishing CampusSpeak, an agency that provides issue-based speakers to college campus across the nation.

Even though attendance is mandatory for all Westminster College sorority and fraternity members, the event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact John Lechner, assistant dean of student affairs and public safety at Westminster College at (724) 946-7128 or e-mail lechnejn@westminster.edu.
