Thirty Westminster College students will perform "Detective Story" Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 27-March 1, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m.

"Detective Story," which takes place in the squad room of a 1940s New York police station, focuses on two cases of a bitter detective. One case is about a decent young man who steals money from his employer, and the other is about an abortionist. The story reaches a peak when the detective finds out that his wife is involved in the abortion case.

The play is directed by Eileen Hendrickson, visiting instructor of theatre at Westminster College, with the help of Paul Kimpel, set designer, and John Scott, technical director and lighting designer.

The event is open to the public. For reservations and ticket information, call the Beeghly Box Office at (724) 946-7241 between noon and 2 p.m.
