Heather Bullers, a Westminster College elementary education and music major, will give her senior recital, Sunday, Oct. 1 at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Bullers' soprano voice will sing a variety of numbers including "Se Tu m'ami, se sospiri" by Giovanni Pergolesi, "Nacht und traume" by Franz Schubert, "Art is calling for Me" by Victor Herbert from The Enchantress, and "Somebody, Somewhere" by Frank Henry Loesser from The Most Happy Fella.

Bullers plans a duet "Take me as I am" by Frank Wilhorn with fellow student, Matthew Newman, a senior music education major from Salem Ohio. All numbers will be accompanied by Dr. Nancy Zipa DeSalvo, assistant professor of music at Westminster College.

"I plan to teach in a regular elementary classroom, but integrate music into my teaching style," said Bullers. "My advisors, Dr. (Darwin) Huey and Dr. (Grover) Pitman, have helped me reach my goal at Westminster College of a five-year track in only four years,"

Bullers is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Bullers, R.D. 5, Brookville, and a graduate of Brookville High School.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Westminster College Department of Music at (724) 946-7270.
