Westminster College has earned national recognition in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Online Programs rankings, with its online Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs both recognized among online graduate offerings nationwide.
The U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings assess institutions based on factors related to academic quality, student engagement and support for distance learners. Westminster’s inclusion in the 2026 rankings reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to providing accessible, high-quality online graduate education for working professionals.
Westminster’s online Master of Education (M.Ed.) program was recognized in the Best Online Master’s in Education Programs category. Programs in this category are evaluated on traditional academic foundations such as student engagement and faculty credentials and training, as well as their ability to effectively serve online learners. The rankings also consider student aptitudes and accomplishments, necessary traits for pursuing advanced degrees in education.
The College’s online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was recognized in the Best Online MBA Programs category. Evaluation criteria include the academic strength of entering students, engagement, instructor credentials, along with measures of peer assessment and the availability of career and financial support services for online learners.

The U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings are based on data collected from accredited institutions across the country and focus on outcomes and resources that support student success in online education.
