Westminster College’s Office for Faith and Spirituality is hosting a Children’s Spirituality Discussion Breakfast with the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s Faith Forming Families Network at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 16 on campus.
Faith Forming Families Network and others who work with families and children in a variety of settings will be part of the breakfast discussion. Topics will include ministering to families for faith formation and the challenges, opportunities, insights and innovations that go along with that responsibility.
Clergy, lay leaders and workers, seminary students, parents, elders, social service providers and anyone interested in the spiritual development of children are welcome to attend.
Faith Forming Families Network is an innovation lab that builds neighborhoods and communities through mutual care like Pittsburgh Theological Seminary alumnus, Rev. Fred Rogers, always envisioned. It was established in 2024 through a grant awarded to Pittsburgh Theological Seminary through the Lilly Endowment’s Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative.
Reservations are requested but not required. To find out more information and register, visit Children's Spirituality Discussion Breakfast at Westminster.
