By popular demand, Neil Berg returns to Westminster College to close out the 2024-2025 Celebrity Series season by bringing 50 years of music to life through his tributes, storytelling and musical talent at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in the Will W. Orr Auditorium on campus.
“Neil Berg’s 50 Years of Rock ’n’ Roll: Part 3” highlights the birth of rock ’n’ roll in the 1940s to the glory years of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s and all the way through the MTV era of the ’80s. Composer and lyricist Neil Berg brings fascinating stories through music in this popular performance filled with your favorite hits.
With a cast of Broadway headliners and rock ‘n’ roll icons, this star-studded show pays tribute to five decades of legends from Elvis Presley to The Who, Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac and many more. Berg recognizes all the popular genres from across the decades including disco, rock, Motown, new wave and more.
The cast includes members of Broadway’s greatest rock musicals and incredible rock ‘n’ roll singers. Berg shares many unknown stories from the 50-year history of music that changed the world.
