Dr. Jerome Creach, associate professor of Old Testament at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, will conduct a day-long seminar at Westminster College, Wednesday, Sept. 19 in Russell Hall beginning at 8:30 a.m.
"Planted by Streams of Water: The Book of Psalms and the Search for Peace and Security" is the theme for the day. The event will explore a primary question posed by the authors of the biblical psalms - by what means can human beings gain access to God's blessings, protection, and security.
This is the first in a series of continuing education events for 2001-2002 sponsored by the Westminster College Office of Church Relations. Registration is required and limited to 40 participants.
For more information and reservations, contact the Rev. William J. Maloney, Westminster College director of church relations, at (724) 946-7365 or e-mail malonewj@westminster.edu. The deadline for reservations is Wednesday, Sept. 12.
