Dr. Sandra K. Webster, professor and chair of psychology at Westminster College, will present "Lessons Learned in Korea" Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 11:45 a.m. in 311 Patterson Hall.

Webster spent last year teaching in Korea on a Fulbright Scholarship.

"I'll be talking about the lessons learning in Korea about teaching," said Webster. "Although I taught mostly the same classes I teach at Westminster, I did so in vastly different settings, urban, large university, and in a second language. I also was teaching for the first time in a traditional confucist culture."

Webster, who has been with Westminster College since 1983, earned her undergraduate degree, her master's and her Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University. She is the recipient of two Fulbright Scholar Grants, and author of numerous peer-reviewed publications.
