Kourtney Kissel, a junior sociology/criminal justice major at Westminster College, interned at SecuraComm Consulting, Inc., a national engineering consulting firm providing independent appraisals and development of integrated protection programs.

"I really enjoyed my time there, especially getting to work with such nice people, contributing to a successful business, and applying what I've learned at Westminster," said Kissell.

"I researched other security firms to see how they compared with SecuraComm, looked through documents from a lawsuit case involving a defective security device, and did Internet searches on different search engines using different phrases relating to security consulting and reported the results," continued Kissell.

Kissel is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Kissel, 11 Lorrie Dr., Irwin, and a graduate of Penn-Trafford High School.
