The Rev. Steven Mark Allen will formally be installed as the Westminster College Chaplain at the Vespers Service, Sunday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m., in Wallace Memorial Chapel.
The Rev. William McCoy of the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church, and Dr. Darwin Huey, associate professor and chair of education at Westminster College, will deliver special messages, and Stanley Rothrock, a 2001 Westminster College graduate, will present the music.
Immediately following the service, a reception is planned outside the Chapel.
Allen came to Westminster College this summer from The Lovett School in Atlanta, Ga., where he was employed since 1997. Prior to that, he was associate pastor of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, and director of youth ministries at the Milford Presbyterian and North Haven Congregational Churches in Connecticut.
