Posted on Friday, October 12, 2001

Paul G. Wozniak, professor of accounting at Westminster College, is the featured speaker at the Northwestern Chapter Dinner and Networking Session of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Iroquois Club in Conneaut Lake.

Wozniak will present "Current Problems in Accounting," which investigates the history of accounting, and how it relates to current problems.

Wozniak, who is a member of PICPA, currently serves as co-chair for the Northwestern Chapter's Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee. A member of the Westminster faculty since 1974, Wozniak earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from Youngstown State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Pennsylvania.

The PICPA event attempts to network with guidance counselors, principals, teachers, and CPAs to generate interest in the profession, and provide information, materials, and literature for high school students interested in accounting.
