Twenty-eight Westminster College students attended the Engineering Society of Western Pennsylvania Leadership Conference in October.

The conference, sponsored by the Institute of Management Accountants, featured "How to Become a Leader" with speakers such as: Tom Rosengarth, associate professor of accounting at Westminster College; Stacey Ellul, sales manager of Hyatt Regency; and Linda Weller, sales manager of Accountants on Call, and keynote speaker David Zynn, chief financial officer of Stargate Internet Services.

The Institute of Management Accountants presented three students with book scholarships, two of which are Westminster College students: Tracy Hamovitz, a senior international business major from Apollo; and Bryan O'Neill, a senior business administration major from Bethel Park.

"This conference was a great learning experience, which provided me with a better knowledge of certain occupations that I am currently interested in," said O'Neill.
