Westminster Professor Presents Research in New Orleans Conference

Dr. Williams J. Evans, association professor of education at Westminster College, recently presented his research, "A Glimpse of the Future: Technology is Live Counseling Supervision," at the American Counseling Association National Conference in New Orleans.

"I examined the emerging role of technology in the provision of live clinical supervision with counselor trainees," said Evans. "The presentation was a collaborative project with Counselor Educators from California State University at Fresno and Youngstown State University."

Evans is currently conducting research in the use of technology in supervision and has authored an article on this subject in the Journal of College Counseling.

Evans earned his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University, his master's from Youngstown State University, and his Ph.D. from Kent State University.
