Westminster College’s McGill Library will host a children’s summer storytime series each Tuesday this summer.
The socially-distanced storytime will be held from 11 to 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday from June 1 to Aug. 3 on the lawn by the library steps. Each week, the selected story will follow a different theme and children can participate in an optional activity. Participants will also receive a take-home craft.
Upcoming themes are:
June 8: Pirates
June 15: Magic
June 22: Tails and Tales
June 29: Baking
July 6: Bugs
July 13: Birds
July 20: Clouds
July 27: Stars and Space
Aug. 3: Sleepover
The summer storytime series, which is free and open to the public, is designed for preschool-aged children and older. Social distancing and masking for nonvaccinated individuals over age 2 will be required.
