VIENNA, Ohio - The Westminster College women's golf team won the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament for the third year in a row on Monday.

Westminster fired a team score of 347 (+59) in the final round at Squaw Creek and had a two-day score of 671 (+99) to win the PAC Championship by 98 shots over second-place finisher, Geneva College. Westminster's three-straight team titles are the most consecutive PAC championships in program history.

All five Titans received All-PAC recognition for their performances, including three All-PAC First Team recipients, sophomores Kasey Clifford (Longport, NJ / Ocean City) and Erika Hoover (New Castle, PA / Wilmington Area) and first-year Sierra Richard (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk). Clifford, Richard and Hoover placed first, second and third respectively in the individual standings, marking the first time in program history the Titans have taken the top three spots on the PAC Championship leaderboard.

Clifford, who won the individual title by four shots, posted a two-day score of 159 (74, 85) to earn PAC Player of the Year honors for the second-straight year. Clifford is one of two players in program history to earn PAC MVP honors multiple times and is the youngest to win it back-to-back. Richard carded a two-day score of 163 (80, 83) to finish runner-up and earn PAC Newcomer of the Year honors. Richard is only the second player in school history to earn Newcomer of the Year honors. Hoover earned first team recognition for the second-straight year after carding a two-day score of 167 (82, 85).

Sophomore Baylee Horvath (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) earned All-PAC Second Team status with a two-day score of 183 (89, 94) to finish solo-seventh, while first-year Morgan Byers (Venetia, PA / Peters Township) joined Horvath on the second team with a two-day total of 185 (88, 97) to tie for eighth place.

To top off the individual awards, Head Coach Matt Torrence earned his third-straight PAC Coach of the Year honor, marking the most consecutive PAC Coach of the Year awards in program history and tying Debi Roud for the most all-time.

With the PAC Championship victory, Westminster receives the automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament at Forest Akers Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan starting on Tuesday, May 11.
