Westminster College alumnus Scott Seltzer ’89 (history) has been named executive director of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL), overseeing a large, diverse PIAA district that includes 140 high schools in a 10-county area. His appointment goes into effect July 1.

Westminster College President Dr. Kathy Brittain Richardson has been selected as one of the 100 most powerful people in Pennsylvania’s higher education community. City and State Pennsylvania magazine’s 2022 Higher Education Power 100 list placed Richardson among the list that honors the most influential leaders in academia statewide, including leaders of several colleges, universities, and professional schools.
