Westminster College to Host Perfect Pitch Competition, Nov. 7

Nine students in the School of Business at Westminster College will take on students from Geneva College, Grove City College, Penn State Shenango, and Youngstown State University at the annual Perfect Pitch Competition at 9 a.m.November 7 in Lakeview Room, third floor McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free open to the public.

On a warm summer day last year, George Herchenroether ’37, trustee emeritus who is celebrating his 100th birthday October 24, was given the chance to do anything he wanted that day. “Go to New Wilmington, have lunch at the Tavern, and visit Westminster,” he said without batting an eye.

Westminster College announces the newest art exhibit, “The Making of a Book

Westminster College announces the newest art exhibit, “The Making of a Book,” open October 19 through November 13 during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) in Foster Art Gallery, Patterson Hall. In collaboration with the exhibit opening, the artists will host a reception at 5 p.m., October 21. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

"HeLa: What Do We Know?" is the second of three lectures this semester exploring issues in the first year inquiry reading, "The Immoral Life of Henrietta Lacks." Presented by Dr. David Goldberg, associate professor of  Religion, History, Philosophy, Classics, the lecture is free and open to the entire campus community.
