Potential for Advocacy
Potential to be a strong advocate for Westminster College and the Alumni Association. Willingness to use one’s time and talent to advance the College.
- Willingness to commit to the mission and vision of the Westminster College Alumni Association and become knowledgeable about the programs, services, structure, goals and objectives of the alumni association
- Skills, expertise and ability to assist in, special projects, ongoing programs, training and how that fits in to needs of the council/committees
- Available platform or voice to advocate/promote the College
National Representation
To further the representative distribution of the alumni body
- Geographic distribution and international influence should be considered
Leadership Qualities
Demonstrated leadership ability within their career and community.
- Past involvement and attendance or planning of events in their career or community.
Passion & Commitment for Westminster College
- Attendance at college and alumni events
- Regional Committee engagement
- Willingness to engage other alumni to reconnect with the College
- Participation in networking events on and off campus
- Willingness to attend and/or organize alumni association events in their area
Affluence
Ability and willingness to financially support the college.
- Annual contributions to the college, particular scholarships, departments, or programs
- Giving should be considered
