Hope Wilson ’22
English major • Secondary education minor
New Kensington, Pennsylvania
When Hope Wilson ’22 enrolled at Westminster, she wanted to immerse herself in all that college had to offer. She held true to those plans, and today she is one of the most recognized faces on campus. A natural student leader, Hope serves as president of the Black Student Union, a resident assistant, a Titan admissions guide and a Peer Success coach—and she believes every opportunity she’s been given has helped her grow as a student leader, an academic and a professional. Originally from New Kensington, Pennsylvania, the English major and secondary education minor has dreams of sharing her knowledge with the next generation. Through teaching, specifically in inner-city schools, she hopes to instill an appreciation for learning and a sense of purpose. “I want to show young kids that they have a purpose—and I want to be a Black role model to them.”
