Dr. Mallory Strickland Ciuksza '08, a graduate of Westminster's biochemistry program, knows how to be a good neighbor. Her response to the COVID-19 pandemic? Making sure the people in her community are fed during these times of self-isolation and financial uncertainty.

Over the weekend of March 14 and 15, Mallory and her husband, Albert, took the initiative and bought food, sought commercial kitchen space and put out calls for volunteers on social media. A little over a month later, they’ve collected enough space, food, money and volunteers to deliver meals to 1,000 people every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
