Eleven members of Westminster College's Habitat for Humanity chapter joined forces with the Trumbull County, Ohio, chapter for a day of construction and repairs.
The Westminster chapter, which averages a work project each month, helped paint and do drywall work and other interior improvements on two new construction houses in Warren, Ohio. The collaboration is helping get the projects done sooner than anticipated and should enable the families to move in before winter.
Carmen Santone, president of the Trumbull County Habitat group, said, "We really appreciate their work and can see all that they have done in one day. This has really helped speed up the project."
