2023 Allen P. Splete Leadership and Service Award winner announced

Westminster College junior Samantha Story was awarded the prestigious Allen P. Splete Leadership and Service Award at the College’s 2023 Spring Honors Convocation held April 19.

Story, a junior marketing and professional sales major from Imperial, Pa., was awarded $500 for her campus leadership and volunteer efforts at Westminster. The funds will be used to offset her tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Story is a continuous leader in her major and serves as a student coordinator for the First-Year Orientation. 

The Allen P. Splete Leadership and Service Award is awarded annually to a student who has provided sound leadership and selfless volunteerism to the curricular and co-curricular life on the Westminster campus. The award is named in honor of Dr. Allen P. Splete, president of Westminster College from 1982-1985.
