IN THE NEWS: Scott Seltzer ’89 to head WPIAL

Westminster College alumnus Scott Seltzer ’89 (history) has been named executive director of the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL), overseeing a large, diverse PIAA district that includes 140 high schools in a 10-county area. His appointment goes into effect July 1.

Seltzer has served as a WPIAL board member since 2009 and board president since 2016, while also serving on the PIAA Board of Directors during that same time.
