Westminster College Jazz Ensemble to livestream spring concert

The Westminster College Jazz Ensemble will livestream their final concert of the year at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25.

Under the direction of Dr. Timothy Winfield, associate professor of music, the Jazz Ensemble will perform works by Sammy Nestico, Hank Levy, Gordon Goodwin, Erik Morales and more.

Senior musicians, who will graduate in May, will also be honored during this performance. Those seniors include:

•    Abby Grabigel, alto saxophone, is a music education major from Mercer, Pa.
•    Kyle Youmans, tenor saxophone, is a music education major from Sebring, Ohio.
•    Matthew Bollinger, trombone, is a computer science and mathematics major from Gibsonia, Pa.
•    Vincent Buell, trumpet, is a music performance and music education major from Sharpsville, Pa.
•    Tim Hering, trumpet, is an honors student majoring in music and English from New Galilee, Pa.
•    Allison Savage, trumpet, is a music education major from Purcellville, Va.

The Westminster College Jazz Ensemble is a 20-member student ensemble that performs a wide array of music from traditional swing to modern jazz.
