Franco Rodriguez '21
Senior
Greensburg, Pennsylvania

As he begins his senior year, Franco Rodriguez ’21 said he’s excited about new opportunities, but he is “sad that [his] time at Mother Fair is coming to an end.” Originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where he attended Greensburg Central Catholic High School, Franco selected Westminster College because of the opportunities within athletics, as well as the small-campus atmosphere. He was also excited to have the opportunity to meet students from diverse backgrounds, including other Hispanic students like himself. Throughout high school, Franco was interested in science, so when coming to Westminster, he chose a major in biology. In the future, he plans to work in the medical sales industry. Outside of the classroom, Franco has also played Men’s Lacrosse and Men’s Soccer for Westminster. He’s been a resident assistant for three years and he currently serves as secretary of Student Government Association. As he finishes his career at Westminster College, Franco said that his favorite thing about Westminster is the small community of faculty and friends that he has created here—which has helped shape who he has become.
