Westminster College Offers $76,000 Young Presbyterian Scholarships
In 2002 Westminster College celebrated its 150th Anniversary by recognizing its historical ties to the Presbyterian Church with the establishment of the Young Presbyterian Scholarship. The decision was made to invite all PC(USA) churches to nominate qualified high school seniors interested in admission to Westminster College for this award. The scholarship enables the local church and Westminster College to partner together to provide students with opportunities to continue to grow in their faith while attending one of the leading liberal arts colleges in the country.
The Young Presbyterian Scholarship is worth $19,000 annually for Academic Year 2018–2019 and renewable every year for four years, for a total up to $76,000. Each PC(USA) congregation can nominate at least two qualifying graduating seniors for the scholarships each academic year.
