Language in Motion Students to Make Presentations

Posted on Monday, March 16, 2009

Fifteen Westminster College students in the Language in Motion program will make presentations at area schools this spring.

Presentations will be made in the Wilmington Area School District, Portersville Christian School, and Shenango High School in New Castle.

Language in Motion is an innovative outreach program that gives study-abroad returnees, international students, and upper-level language students the opportunity to create language and cultural activities for presentation in K-12 language, social studies, and other classes where culture can be studied.

The Language in Motion program at Westminster College is sponsored by the Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and is coordinated by Milagros Swerdlow, Westminster lecturer in Spanish.

Contact Swerdlow at (724) 946-7264 or e-mail swerdlm@westminster.edu for additional information.
