Westminster College students will have the opportunity to meet with alumni in the education field at "Connections in Education Speed Networking" Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center.

All Westminster students, regardless of major, are welcome to explore their interests.

The evening will open with a welcome from Lurene McDonald, a senior public relations major from Hickory and president of Westminster's Student Alumni Association, the sponsor of the event.

Jackie Meade, director of Westminster's Career Center and 1986 master's recipient, and Mary James, director of Westminster's alumni office and 1984 graduate, will give greetings and explain the procedure.

Students will begin with one of the participating alumni. After about five minutes, a bell will ring, signaling students to move to the next table. At each table, students will be able to share their interests, ask questions, and learn from experienced alumni.
