Six Westminster College students will study at off-campus locations ranging from Pittsburgh to France, Scotland, and Costa Rica for the fall 2008 semester.

Zakhoury Adams, a sophomore media art major, is a son of Ronald and Sharon Adams of Allentown and a graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School. He will study at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Kenneth Cloonan, a junior French major, is a son of Joseph and Krista Cloonan of Franklin and a graduate of Franklin Area High School. He will study at Stendhal University in Grenoble, France.

Amanda Ehrhardt, a senior English major, is a daughter of Edward and Celeste Ehrhardt of Gibsonia and a graduate of Hampton High School. She will study at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Amanda Myer, a junior Spanish major, is a daughter of Jerry and Lisa Myer of Schellsburg and a graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School. She will study at Las Veritas University in San José, Costa Rica.

Katie Skemp, a junior international business major, is a daughter of Thomas and Sheryl Skemp of Oakmont and a graduate of Riverview High School. She will study at Las Veritas University in San José, Costa Rica.

Certain majors require study abroad, such as international politics, international business, intercultural studies, and various modern languages. These majors make up the majority of students who study abroad.

The study-abroad program has been a strong part of Westminster for decades. Westminster is part of a student exchange program with over 100 schools, allowing Westminster students to travel all over the world and receive the same rates and financial aid just as if they were still at Westminster.
