Recent Graduate Awarded Scholarship

Allison Buzzelli, a 2008 Westminster College graduate, was one of nine students awarded a Samuel Robinson Scholarship by the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Buzzelli, a Spanish major and Young Presbyterian Scholars student, is a daughter of Robin and Phillip Buzzelli of Grove City, a graduate of Grove City Area High School, and a member of Tower Presbyterian Church, Grove City.

To qualify for the Robinson award, students must be a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA); be a junior or a senior at a PC(USA)-related college; answer questions from the Westminster Shorter Catechism; and write a paper on working with students struggling with their faith.

The essays were judged to determine an amount ranging from $4,500-$6,000 for each award. The best of the essays will be posted in July at www.pcusa.org/financialaid.
