Chamber Orchestra to Debut Feb. 25

The Westminster College Chamber Orchestra will make its debut concert Sunday, Feb. 25, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

Under the baton of Jonathan Moser, the orchestra will play Boccherini's Overture in D Major, op 43; Bach's Concerto in C minor for Oboe and Violin, BWV 10609; and Haydn's Symphony No. 6 in D Major, "Le Matin." The concert will also feature the Westminster Student Brass Quintet, the Westminster Student Woodwind Quintet, the Westminster Student "Titan" Trio, and guest soloists Mary Moser on the violin, Shawn Reynolds on the oboe, and Qing Yang on the cello.

Moser, who has been with Westminster since 2005, earned his undergraduate degree from Shenandoah University and master's from Arizona State University.
