The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) has named Westminster College a "Leading School" in its recent study, State of the Campus Environment.

The study indicates that Westminster College is among the national leaders in the category of "Leading Schools for Supporting and Evaluating Faculty on Environmental Studies."  This exemplary status requires a school to have programs to support faculty professional development on environmental topics, and formally evaluate or recognize how faculty have integrated environmental topics into their courses.

"The National Wildlife Federation is interested not only in helping colleges and universities reduce their toll on the environment, but also in providing students the practical lessons and tools they need to implement positive change when they leave the campus," said Mark Van Putten, president and CEO of NWF.
