Westminster Celebrates "150 Years of God"

Westminster College's Religious Life Symposium celebrates "Westminster's Faith Journey: 150 Years of God at Westminster" Thursday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

The symposium brings back past chaplains, Rev. Wayne Nickerson and Rev. Judd McConnell, as well as current and former faculty members, Dr. Joseph Hopkins, Dr. Robert VanDale, and Dr. Kang Na.

"They will talk about religious climate during their years at Westminster," said Rev. Steve Allen, current chaplain of Westminster College. "They have seen required Bible courses, the Vietnam War, and Sept. 11, and will tell how these and other things affected the Westminster community."

The program, which is free and open to the public, will be followed by a question and answer session.
