Kappa Delta sorority will hold a benefit dance-a-thon Friday, Oct. 27, from 6 p.m.-midnight at the Walton-Mayne Union Lounge.

In addition to the admission charge of $1, there will be a Chinese auction, t-shirts and food for sale.

"All proceeds will go to the Girl Scouts of America," said Lisa Raidel, chair of the philanthropy committee. "If you are unable to attend, any member of the philanthropy committee, Mary Bennett, Megan Chandler, Shannon Gray, Chrissy Ingold, Anita McCandless, Amanda Mitchell, Chrissy Zahniser or myself, will be glad to accept a donation."

Kappa Delta is one of the five national social sororities on the campus of Westminster College. It offers leadership and social opportunities for its members as well as philanthropic work, including the National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Girl Scouts, and Children's Hopsital. Membership requires at least a 2.25 out of a 4.0 quality point average.
