College Break Shuttle Service

Westminster College offers limited shuttle service to the Pittsburgh International Airport with subsequent stops to Amtrak, Greyhound, and MegaBus in downtown Pittsburgh. While not a taxi service, the Westminster shuttle is a coordinated shuttle service that requires students to sign up reasonably in advance in order for the coordination of limited resources.

Reservations

Shuttle service is limited to enrolled students and is scheduled around important break and holiday travel times. Reservations are required and must be made in advance. Occasionally, last minute changes may be accommodated by visiting the Student Affairs Office (McKelvey Campus Center, Suite 341).

Confirmation and communication regarding your reservation will be sent via email from Student Affairs. Please be sure to enter a correct email address.

If you make alternate arrangements for transportation, please cancel your reservation by calling Student Affairs at 724-946-7110

Shuttle Pick Up and Drop Off

Shuttles depart campus from the McKelvey Campus Center main entrance (north). Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to begin boarding. Because other riders have flights, the shuttle cannot wait beyond the scheduled departure time. The driver is instructed to leave at posted departure time.

Return shuttles will pick up outside the baggage claim area at the Pittsburgh International Airport unless otherwise notified. Drivers will share their contact information. Please communicate any flight delays with the driver. Drivers may need to leave the airport at the scheduled pick-up time regardless of flight delays. Shuttle passengers are expected to be at the pick-up location fifteen minutes prior to pick-up.

Titan Card ID must be presented to driver before you may access vehicle.

Luggage

Luggage is limited to one carry-on bag (or backpack) and one medium suitcase. Call 724-946-7110 (Student Affairs) if you foresee needing additional luggage space. Luggage handling is passenger responsibility.
