The Titan Ten: Key Steps to Enrolling

#1 Activate your online account

Your Westminster online account is created after you pay your deposit and is different from the account you may have used to apply to the College. You’ll use this account to login to my.westminster, where you will complete your New Student forms, access your fall class schedule, see your housing assignment, and pay your bill. You’ll also use this username and password to access your Westminster email and our online course environment.

Step-by-step instructions for activating your online account and accessing your @westminster.edu email are available on my.westminster.

Note: If you have not received an email from admissions@westminster.edu notifying you that your account has been created within three business days of the date of your deposit, try searching your email inbox for the words "Campus Network Login Information." It is not unusual for this email to end up in a Junk or Spam filter. If it does not appear in the search, please let us know by emailing admissions@westminster.edu or contacting your Admissions counselor.

#3 Register for New Titan Day

New Titan Day is a required new student-focused day-long event at Westminster College. The programing during New Titan Day provides incoming members of the Westminster Class of 2028 with a strong academic on-boarding experience, engages students with resources to prepare them for transition to campus, and builds personal connections and community with fellow first-years, current students, faculty, and staff. Parallel programing for parents and family will be provided throughout the morning for those interested in remaining on campus, while the afternoon is open for guests to explore New Wilmington and the surrounding areas.

New Titan Days are June 21, June 26, and June 28. (Students and families select the day that works best for their schedules. If you are unable to attend an on-campus event, please see the New Titan Day Registration page for information about a virtual option.)

#4 Accept your financial aid offer

You received a financial aid offer in the mail that lists any Westminster merit awards you received, as well as any federal and state financial aid for which you qualify. You must sign and return the letter before your aid is processed. If you wish to decline all or a portion of any award(s), indicate the adjustment on the letter, sign and return to the Financial Aid Office.

Alternatively, you may sign your financial aid offer letter electronically. Please see the 2024-2025 Student Financial Services Guide for instructions and more detailed information.

#5 Review your fall class schedule

An academic advisor uses the information you provided in your Course Preferences form to create your fall class schedule appropriate for your major or, if you are undecided, to help you explore possible majors. You’ll be notified by email when your schedule has been created, which will be after April 24.

Once your schedule has been created, it will be available on the my.westminster Academics page (login required).

#6 Get your housing and roommate assignment

Westminster is a four-year residential campus, which means the majority of our students live on campus in one of our residence halls. The Housing application in the New Student Checklist provides the information we need to make your housing and roommate assignment. You can also find a lot of helpful information about living on campus on our my.westminster Residence Life page.

Early Decision students will receive their housing on June 14, all other students’ housing information will be available on my.westminster on June 28 (login required).

Note: A small percentage of our students commute from the home of a parent or legal guardian. If you have qualified for commuter status, you will receive a letter from Residence Life with your approval starting after June 15. Please be sure to attend the commuter meetings during orientation to learn how you can make meaningful connections on campus.

#7 Return your health forms

These forms contain physical and vaccine information required for enrollment and on-campus living. You can also use the forms to notify the Wellness Center of any special health care needs. Paper copies of the forms were mailed to you with the "Welcome New Titans" guide or you can print out copies of the form from westminster.edu/checklist.

The forms should be completed by your primary care physician and submitted to the College by July 1.

Note: ** Athletes will be required to complete additional health forms located in a different online portal. You will receive more information about these forms directly from the Athletic department.**

It is important that you understand and have a plan for paying the cost of your college education. Your bill includes charges for tuition, housing, food, and fees for student activities, orientation, and certain music courses if you are enrolled. There are other expenses associated with college, such as textbooks, supplies, parking fees, laptops and technology, travel, clothing and entertainment. Regardless of who is paying for college, you should have a reasonable budget and know how each item will be paid.

Pay your Balance by July 20 or fill out your financial plan form (coming in July). Please see the 2024-2025 Student Financial Services Guide. for instructions and more detailed information about payment options.
