This FREE event is open to woodwind musicians of all levels. Lunch is provided. This year's event will feature Austin Brown, Associate Principal Flute of the Pittsburgh Symphony and Westminster College faculty members Dan Parasky, flute; Kim Winfield, oboe; Daniel Heasley, clarinet, Dr. Dan Perttu, bassoon; and Dr. James Flowers, saxophone.
Participants will have a chance to play in a group warm-up, attend a master class with guest artist Austin Brown, hear a recital performed by guest artist Austin Brown, play in a woodwind ensemble reading session led by Dr. R. Tad Greig, hear a lecture given by Daniel Heasley, participate in instrument-specific master classes with Westminster faculty, and hear a recital performed by Westminster faculty. Recitals are free and open to the public.
