As part of the Strathgheny School of Scottish Fiddling camp, Westminster College will host two Scottish fiddlers’ concerts. The concerts are free and open to the public. Those attending should bring a lawn chair.

At 8 p.m. Monday, July 11 in Anderson Amphitheater, the concert will feature professional fiddlers Dr. Melinda Crawford Perttu, assistant professor of music at Westminster, and David Gardner. They will be accompanied on Scottish piano by Dr. Daniel Perttu, associate professor and chair of Westminster’s School of Music.

At 8 p.m. Friday, July 15, on Weisel Senior Terrace outside of Old Main, student camp participants will perform their weeklong accumulation of music. The concert is part of the Summerfest celebration of the arts festival from 3 – 9 p.m. in New Wilmington.
