Alpha Psi Omega, Westminster's national honorary theatre fraternity, presents "Scapin" Friday-Saturday, Dec. 5-6, at 7:30 p.m. in Beeghly Theater.

"Scapin" is an adaptation of the classic Moliere comedy "The Trickeries of Scapin." The plot revolves around the tricky servant, Scapin, and his sidekick, Sylvestre. Laughter and trouble ensure as Scapin attempts to scam two miserly fathers out of large sums of money in order to help their less than "brilliant" sons with their secret wedding plans.

"I believe the slogan this December, deception is the name of the game' epitomizes this performance," said Richard Marmura, a junior political science and theatre major from Moon Township and director of this play. "The show is full of music, dancing, romance, slap-stick humor and numerous site-gags. The performance has some adult humor, but nothing too extreme."

The show is free and open to the public, but seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis. This completely student-run production will accept donations for the Alpha Psi Omega.
