Eight Westminster College senior mathematics majors will present their capstone projects Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center third floor atrium.
The final component of Liberal Studies at Westminster is a senior capstone course, which is at least a four-semester-hour course within the major designed to provide an opportunity for students to evaluate and assess the strengths and limitations of their major field.

Pittsburgh, PA
Nicole Udanis is a daughter of John Udanis. Udanis, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Fox Chapel High School. Her project is titled "Westminster College Work Study and the Assignment Problem."
Prospect, PA
Andrea Murphy is a daughter of John and Sandra Murphy. Murphy, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Butler High School. Her project is titled "LINGO and its Application."
New Castle, PA
Brian Fadden is a son of Robert and Sharon Fadden. Fadden, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Mohawk High School. His project is titled "Major League Baseball Rookie of the Year and Sophomore Slumps."
Crystal Buntman is a daughter of Harry and Helen Buntman. Buntman, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Neshannock High School. Her project is titled "Goldbach Conjecture."
Grove City, PA
Lindsay Lutes is a daughter of Harry and Linda Lutes. Lutes, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Grove City High School. Her project is titled "Portfolio Optimization."
West Middlesex, PA
Rachel Donner is a daughter of Dennis and Susan Donner. Donner, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of West Middlesex High School. Her project is titled "Fourth Order Magic Squares."
Knox, PA
Lauren Beichner is a daughter of Daniel and Esther Beichner. Beichner, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Keystone High School. Her project is titled "Pyramid Yahtzee."
Poland, OH
Christie Grewe is a daughter of James Grewe. Grewe, a senior mathematics major, is a graduate of Poland Seminary High School. Her project is titled "The Best American Movie of All Time."
