The Westminster College Christmas Vesper service will air live Sunday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. on the Westminster Cable Network (Adelphia Cable channels 9, 10) and WWNW radio station 89.9 FM.
Video of the service will air Thursday, Dec. 15, and Friday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m.
The Westminster Cable Network serves the New Wilmington and Adelphia Cable System with over 70,000 subscribers. Students manage the station and program approximately 23 hours per week during the regular school year. The programming includes a student-produced news, talk, music, and sports programs. A remote truck is used for live coverage of selected football and basketball games. WCN has been the producer of live satellite broadcasts of NAIA Division II Championship football from Omaha, Neb., and Portland, Ore. Prime Sports carried these broadcasts – reaching over two million homes in a three-state area surrounding Pittsburgh.
