Senior Music Major to Give Recital

Darci Kuhlber, a Westminster College senior music education major, will give a voice recital Friday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Wallace Memorial Chapel.

 Kuhlber, an alto, will sing Liuzzi's "Laude e I primardi delta melodia italiana" accompanied on the harp by Sara Gold, a junior music education major from Owatonna, Minn.  Her program continues with Handel's "Arie des Admeto;" Schumann's "Wenn ich in deine Augen seh;" Williams' "The Sky Above the Roof;" de Falla's "Siete Canciones populares Espanolas;" Brown's "Still Hurting;" and Debussy's "Beau Soir" and "Mandoline."  Jeff Wachter, a Westminster music faculty member, will accompany Kuhlber on the piano.

 Kuhlber is a daughter of David and Diana Kuhlber, Grove City, and a graduate of Grove City High School.  She is a member of the concert choir and chamber sings, who have performed throughout the United States and Italy.  While at Westminster Kuhlber has performed in of Opera Workshops and Theatre Westminster musicals.  She is a member of the Choral Directors Association, Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, the Music Intern Teaching Program, and Mu Phi Epsilon, a national music fraternity.
