Colloquium to feature Pittsburgh Steelers security director

Retired FBI agent and current executive director of security for the Pittsburgh Steelers will speak during the Westminster College Criminal Justice Studies and Sociology Colloquium at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, in the Witherspoon Lakeview Room of McKelvey Campus Center on the college campus. 

Intelligence, security and organizational leadership expert Robert Allan Jones will present “The 21st Century FBI: Its Place in Modern Policing form Local Law Enforcement to International Capacity Building.” 

Jones served 24 years with the FBI and has extensive leadership background in counterterrorism and counterintelligence. He led the FBI’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate and oversaw the FBI’s response to the 2018 Tree of Life Synagogue mass shooting. Following the Sept. 11 terror attacks, he served as the supervisory special agent and unit chief in the Usama Bin Laden Unit of Counterterrorism Division at FBI headquarters. 

Jones currently serves as the executive director of security for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
