How Our Campus Organization Helped! 


  • Campus and Student Organizations sponsored a variety of fund raising events from dances, dinners, general collections, or selling items.
  • The three organizations that were designated to receive the funds were: (amount raised for each organization is listed below) All undesignated donations were equally distributed among the three funds.

WORLD VISION founded in 1950, is an international Christian relief and development organization whose stated goal is "to follow our Lord Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God." Working on six continents, World Vision is one of the largest Christian relief organizations in the world. Your gift now will help distribute life-saving relief supplies — including food, clean water, blankets, and tents — to children and families devastated by the earthquake and aftershocks in Haiti.

Together with individuals and local groups in more than 100 countries, Oxfam saves lives, helps people overcome poverty, and fights for social justice. Through enduring partnerships with local organizations, we have helped millions of people to not only survive the devastation of wars, famines, and natural disasters, but to rebuild their lives. We trust local people to develop the best answers to local problems. 

PARTNERS IN HEALTH is a non-profit healthcare organization founded in 1987, set up in Cange, Haiti, to deliver health care to the residents of the mountainous Central Plateau. The Clinic and projects like it are designed to address the health care needs of the residents of the poorest area in Haiti. Over the past 20 years, PIH has expanded its operations to eight other sites in Haiti and nine additional countries and has launched a number of other initiatives.
