Campus Fellowship


Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Westminster FCA chapter of this national organization was organized in 1969 with the purpose of confronting athletes and coaches with the challenge and adventure of serving Christ. FCA meetings feature talks given by professional athletes, student athletes, coaches and fans. FCA meets at 8:30 p.m. in the Witherspoon Maple Room every Thursday night when school is in session. Everyone is invited to attend.

Newman Club

The Newman Club is a club of Catholic culture and Catholic fellowship. Meetings are held at 8:15 p.m. in the Witherspoon Maple Room every Wednesday night when school is in session.  Newman Club is open to ALL STUDENTS.  If you have any questions please contact any member of the Leadership Team: Amber Rex, Caitlin Roberts, Karen Kolosky, Stephanie Gasser, Braeden Bash, Brad Thomas, and Augie Santillo.

 

Seekers Christian Fellowship

Founded in 1998, Seekers creates a fellowship based on God's guidance through His word and prayer, which helps students grow in their faith by looking beyond themselves through building relationships and serving others. Gospel Choir

The Gospel Choir, under the direction of Manny Henderson, meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Chapel.  The Gospel Choir is a non-audition choir open to all students and staff.  The Choir participates in Vesper Services, travels to area churches to participate in worship and records a CD annually.  The group takes a spring break concert tour.  New members are always welcome!   For more information please feel free to contact a member of the Leadership Team: Lindsay James, Caitlin Smith, Joshua Caldwell and Director, Manny Henderson..

Praise Team

The Chapel has two Praise Teams that participate in worship.  The Open Door Reflection Praise Team meets every Monday at 7:30 PM in the Chapel to rehearse.   This Praise Team provides music for the Open Door Reflection Chapel Services on Mondays and Fridays at 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM.    The Open Door Vespers Praise Team participates in Sunday night Vespers and they rehearse every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Chapel with warm ups on Sunday at 5:00 PM.  If you have a background in praise music plan to join one or both of the teams.   For more information please feel free to contact Advisor:  Carey Anne Meyer-LaSor.

 

Small Group Studies & Bible Studies

Choose from a number of different topics and meeting times. Groups form each semester for study and fellowship -- please contact the Chapel Office for an updated listing or contact Rev. Jim Mohr if you are interested in forming a Small Group or Bible Study.

The following Bible Study and/or Small Group Studies are being scheduled for the following dates and times beginning on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 and concluding no later than Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Tuesdays from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM in McKelvey Campus Center Room 352 - Topic / Study to be determined.
Tuesdays from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM in the Remick Admission House Reception Lobby - Topic / Study to be determined.
Tuesdays, from 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM in Thompson-Clark Room 210 - Alpha Course (study book provided at no charge)
