Campus Fellowship


Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Westminster FCA chapter of this national organization was organized in 1969 with the purpose of confronting athletes and coaches with the challenge and adventure of serving Christ. FCA meetings feature talks given by professional athletes, student athletes, coaches and fans. FCA meets at 8:30 p.m. in the Witherspoon Maple Room every Thursday night when school is in session. Everyone is invited to attend.

Newman Club

The Newman Club is a club of Catholic culture and Catholic fellowship. Meetings are held at 8:00 p.m. in the Witherspoon Maple Room every Wednesday night when school is in session.  Newman Club is open to ALL STUDENTS.  If you have any questions please contact any member of the Leadership Team: Shawna Howard, Kearsie Dougherty, Jeralyn Tatano, Augie Santillo, Bethany Kifer, and Advisor:  Fr. Seekers Christian Fellowship

Founded in 1998, Seekers creates a fellowship based on God's guidance through His word and prayer, which helps students grow in their faith by looking beyond themselves through building relationships and serving others. Meetings are held at 9:30 p.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge every Wednesday night when school is in session.   Seekers provides a youth group atmosphere with music and guest speakers.   If you have any questions please contact any member of the Leadership Team: Alex Ott, Brad Gibbons, Anna Cooper, Kevin Suchcicki, Sarah Carlson, Julia Davis, Zakk Dernar, Kierstin Barker and Advisor, Jessica Shelenberger.

Gospel Choir

The Gospel Choir, under the direction of Manny Henderson, meets every Thursday at 7:00 PM in the Chapel.  The Gospel Choir is a non-audition choir open to all students and staff.  The Choir participates in Vesper Services, travels to area churches to participate in worship and records a CD annually.  The group takes a spring break concert tour.  New members are always welcome!   For more information please feel free to contact a member of the Leadership Team: Amber Hill, Kendall Williams, MacKenzie Thomas, Haley Barger, and Director, Manny Henderson..

Praise Team

The Chapel has two Praise Teams that participate in worship.  The Jeremiah2 Praise Team meets every Tuesday at 7:00 PM in the Chapel to rehearse.   This Praise Team provides music for the Open Door Reflection Chapel Services on Mondays and Fridays at 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM.    The Second Chance Praise Team participates in Sunday night Open Door Worship (Vespers) and they rehearse every Mondays at 7:00 PM in the Chapel with warm ups on Sunday at 5:00 PM.  If you have a background in praise music plan to join one or both of the teams.   For more information please feel free to student leader:  Scott Raley or Advisor:  Carey Anne Meyer-LaSor.

 

Small Group Studies & Bible Studies

Choose from a number of different topics and meeting times. Groups form each semester for study and fellowship -- please contact the Chapel Office for an updated listing or contact Rev. Jim Mohr if you are interested in forming a Small Group or Bible Study.
