About Me
As an Assistant Professor in the English and Public Relations department, I teach Principles, Practice, and Theory of Public Relations; Public Relations Writing; Public Relations and the Media; Journalism I & II; Writing 111 and Inquiry. My research interests include brand placement, advertising campaigns, and children's interaction with the media. I have presented research papers at a number of conferences including the Critical Studies in Media Conference, the Pennsylvania Communication Association Conference, and the National Communication Association Conference.
In addition to my teaching and research activities, I coordinate the Bleasby Colloquium. The Bleasby Colloquium brings together faculty, students, and scholars from a variety of fields as part of a monthly lecture series.
