About Me
I have been at Westminster College since 1993 and in that time have witnessed a true Rennaisance in the Music program, growing from 15 majors in 1993 to over 80 today with an additional 40 minors in the program ! I am honored to currently be serving as the Music Department Chair.
In my current capacity, I am the Director of Instrumental Activities which includes administering the "Titan" Marching Band and conducting the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band.
I teach courses in Instrumental Methods, Band Literature, Instrumental and Advanced Conducting and observe student teachers.
I have been a guest conductor (most recently the PMEA All-State Wind Ensemble, 2012) lecturer and guest speaker throughout the eastern United States. As a musician I am a freelance trombonist throughout western PA and eastern OH as well as being a member for the "Fine Arts Brass" Quintet.
The Wind Ensemble at Westminster has been a guest performer for the PMEA State Conference on numerous occasions and has recorded for numerous area composers.
