SciFinder Scholar is the most comprehensive chemical database available to academic institutions today. It offers chemical and related scientific information (including substance data, chemical reactions, references to patents, citations to journals and links to full-text articles), is extremely easy to search, and can be accessed from any computer on campus.

To set up access to SciFinder, email John Garrison (garrisjc@westminster.edu). You will receive an email response with detailed instructions for setting up a personalized account, which will allow you to use the database.

Note: Due to strict licensing agreements, this program is available only to members of the Westminster
community. Therefore, requests for the program will only be fulfilled if the individual's current
association (i.e., enrollment or employment) with the college can be determined.
