Cross Country: Westminster 2009 Season Review

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country team went where no other team in program history had gone before in 2009, while the Titan men's cross country team made headway as a contender in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC). The Titan women placed second at the PAC Championships for their highest finish at the PAC meet since Westminster joined the league in 2002. The unprecedented success continued at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional where the Titan women placed 17th out of 44 teams for their highest finish at a regional to date. In fact, no other Westminster women's team placed higher than 30th prior to the 2009 season. more |
